Old Testament
Psalms 134
World English Bible
Overview
The final, three-verse Song of Ascents is a closing call to worship. It summons the servants of the LORD who stand by night in his house to lift up their hands and bless him, and then turns the blessing around: may the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion. It is a fitting benediction to seal the pilgrim collection.
1A Song of Ascents. Look! Praise Yahweh, all you servants of Yahweh, who stand by night in Yahweh’s house!
2Lift up your hands in the sanctuary. Praise Yahweh!
3May Yahweh bless you from Zion, even he who made heaven and earth.
